According to a French daily newspaper, Formula 1 most decorated driver, and 7-times champion Michael Schumacher, has been admitted into Paris Hospital, where he would be receiving treatment in secret from a heart surgeon who specializes in stem cell therapy.
Le Parisien, a daily newspaper in France reports that the 7-times champion arrived at the Georges-Pompidou European Hospital on Monday afternoon, the daily also revealed that Schumacher would be in the save hands of Professor Phillipe Menasche, a cardiac surgeon who specializes in stem cells, he pioneered stem cell therapy to treat heart failure.
The Ferrari legend, had a skiing accident on the 29 of December 2013, which he suffered a serious head injury afterward and had kept him out of the public for 6 years now.
Schumacher’s family who have kept all their medical dealings out of public space, have not responded on the above report, they last made a statement on Michael’s 50th birthday earlier this year.
The statement reads:
“You can be sure that he is in a very best of hands and that we are doing everything humanly possible to him”
“Please understand if we are following Michael’s wishes and keeping such a sensitive subject as health, as it has always been in privacy”
