It will be intense from the “break” and tension will be at its highest at V10 Lounge when 16 of the finest professional snooker players converge at the billiard table for a one-day Port Harcourt City Eight-Ball Pool Championship billed for Sunday, 11th August 2019.
With exciting times ahead, some of the finest players were paired in an intriguing draw which was held last weekend at the V10 Eight-Ball Pool Arena. The challenges are evenly poised, except one pairing which saw Jude Inyang been handed what could be referred to as a poisoned chalice; a tie against defending champion Arthur Wariso a.k.a Pen Dragon in the first round of 16.
Despite being handed a draw everyone else wished to avoid so early in the championship, Jude Inyang is subtly confident of an upset in the best of one game against Pen Dragon.
“The draw seems fair at least I witnessed it, even though it’s going to be a tough one, you can’t tell it’s just one game as we have been told that the first round is only a game, and anything can happen in just one game, so my hopes are still up”.
“The game is going to be just one game in that round, and anything can happen, if it’s a game of three, then his (Pen Dragon) superiority will actually supersede mine, but you can never tell this could be a game of chance”.
It will be left to see if Jude Inyang with an outside odd greater than Leicester’s 5000:1 when they clinched the premier league title in 2015/16 season, can cause the greatest upset at the championship by knocking out Pen Dragon when hostilities tee-off on Sunday 11th August, 2019 at V10 Lounge from 2pm.
